The members of Clifton Presbyterian Church share their time, talent and financial resources with the community, both locally and internationally. Programs include:![]()
- Summer 2010 mission trips to Hospital Ste. Croix in Leogane, Haiti, and to the NAILS Mission Project in Cumberland, MD, to assist with construction and renovation projects.
- Prior mission trips to “Project Crossroads” in the heart of the Appalachians in Marion, Virginia, and to Puentes de Cristo Mission in Reynosa, Mexico.
- Contributing food, clothing, holiday gifts, on-call referral assistance and transportation to the needy through WFCM Homelessness Prevention.
- Reaching those nearby through a weekday preschool program.
- Participating in the Angel Tree Ministry program to support families of prisoners.
- Leading worship six times a year at the Fairfax Nursing Care Center.
- Working in partnership with the Presbyterian Church in Kenya, East Africa.
- Serving meals at S.O.M.E. (So Others May Eat), a soup kitchen in Washington, D.C. and other homeless shelters.
- Hosting weekly meetings of Alcoholics Anonymous.
- Sponsoring Boy Scout Troop 1104.
- Supporting 30 Hour Famine, Clifton Day, Interfaith Housing, Foster Parents, New Church Development, Union Theological Seminary and Heifer International.
- Hosting the Glory Korean Church for services and Christian education.
